Week 15
This week, a question rose up- maybe it is not right to separate between a long note and a short note at this stage? Maybe it is better to create one note for communication (long or short, not both)? We proceeded with more tests that were very successful, 10/10 were able to use the system in an effective way and succeeded to communicate with the system while receiving feedback to the function they tried to operate. We decided to stay with two notes- long and short and to keep working on the design principles of the system and the language of interaction. It was decided that our metaphor should be a bedside lamp/ something that is inseparable from the bedroom but also not disturbing. This way, the design advanced in the way of thinking what is the best lighting, how the system would react to the operations chosen by the patient and how will the camera not disturb in the bedroom? Shay for example, does not sleep alone. We decided to meet his wife as well.
