Week 1

Hello everyone!

This blog is intended to reflect our progress building a HCI prototype from week to week

The design methodology of our project is called User Centered Design which puts the end user and his needs as the main factor in the design process.

Our assignment for the first week was to figure out WHO is our user. This task is not as easy as it sounds because it's really unusual to start the design progress with only WHO we want to help and not WHAT problem we want to solve.

Anyways, there were alot of options that we have discussed on, from ALS patients to professional athletes, but at the end we agreed on trying to assist people who suffer from panic attacks. This disease is unfamiliar to us and it seems interesting to investigate. Also, some members of our team have friends who suffer from panic attack so we figured that this proximity could help with the user research.
